About Us |
W.C.J.B. was established in 1999 and last
season allowed over 500 children the ability to play
competitive basketball. Below is a list of our highlights:
- Non-profit organization run entirely
by volunteers – coaches, administrators, etc.
- Our # 1 goal is to create as
competitively balanced teams as possible. No school or
“select” teams are allowed. For this reason, special
requests for team placements can not be honored.
- No more than 10 players are assigned
to a team.
- Each player must play an
“uninterrupted” quarter in the 1st half and significant
time in the 2nd half.
- A pre-season evaluation is held to
assist coaches in setting evenly balanced teams.
- Most games are played on weekends.
One practice is usually held during the week.
- All games and practices are held at
gyms within the West Chester area.
- Each player receives a jersey /
shirt.
